Ghosting for a polished gentleman

THE PUBLICATION of this trade and consumer catalogue marked the animated debut of Mr Town Talk, the polished gentleman who – for many years – had passively occupied centre stage in the Town Talk Polish Company’s logo.
Acting almost as midwives, Francis and John Holder produced light-touch text and engaging illustrations that breathed new life into the character, who has since become the company’s chief spokesman and sales person.
Today he can be seen on all the company’s products, as well as on the Town Talk website, where he offers household advice, drawn from his vast experience as a gentleman’s – and lady’s – gentleman.
