Writing for a global audience

THE BP MAGAZINE targets BP’s worldwide audience of politicians, diplomats, NGOs, charities, arts and cultural institutions, educationalists and other opinion formers. It provides an insight into the company’s outstanding people, activities and achievements.
Hester first wrote for the magazine some twenty years ago, when it was published as BP Shield.  More recently, she has written numerous features on exceptional individuals such as Sir John Sulston, winner of the 2002 Nobel Prize for Physiology, through to pioneering educational programmes designed to attract more young people to study science and engineering – the core subjects on which much of BP’s business depends.
