Writing for graduate recruitment

DEBENHAMS' GRADUATE recruitment brochure was subtitled The Buzz of Retail. Francis wrote the copy in a style which reflected this feeling.
       The brochure captures much of the life of a retail manager. It includes quotes Francis gathered from people who had joined the company through previous recruitment programmes. "I never get the feeling I don't want to come to work" was one. "If you can work through Christmas and still come up smiling, you'll know you're in the right business," was another.
       The client's quote – "This works very well" – was particularly gratifying.
